Qualification

Master's degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Engineering Geology, Mining Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline. A Bachelor's degree with strong relevant experience will also be considered. Pasted text

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead compilation, validation, and management of exploration and resource datasets.
- Review sampling, QA/QC, laboratory data, and data quality for mineral resource estimation.
- Oversee database preparation, data import, coding, compositing, and reconciliation.
- Lead geological interpretation and development of 3D geological, domain, and mineralisation models.
- Produce and review geological sections, plans, wireframes, surfaces, solids, and visualisations.
- Lead exploratory data analysis, domaining, compositing, variography, density assignment, estimation, and block modelling.
- Lead mineral resource classification, reporting, reconciliation, risk, and sensitivity assessments.
- Prepare and review technical reports, memoranda, presentations, model documentation, due-diligence deliverables, and data-room reviews.
- Work in accordance with recognised reporting frameworks including JORC, NI 43-101, and S-K 1300.
- Provide technical oversight for exploration, drilling, logging, sampling, QA/QC, density, mapping, and field data-collection programmes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and intermediate geologists.
- Engage with WSP global mining leaders, project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Support proposals, business development, technical quality, knowledge sharing, and capability building.

Technical Skills:
- Geological interpretation, 3D wireframing, domaining, block modelling, and resource model validation.
- Sampling theory, QA/QC, descriptive statistics, geostatistics, variography, and estimation methods.
- Mineral resource reporting frameworks including JORC, NI 43-101, and S-K 1300.
- Geological and mining software such as Leapfrog Geo/Edge, Datamine, Surpac, Vulcan, Micromine, Maptek, Deswik, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, or QGIS.
- Microsoft Excel and management of large technical datasets.
- Technical reporting, data governance, quality assurance, and version control.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading mineral resource estimates for open-pit or underground hard-rock mining projects.
- Exposure to multiple commodities, deposit styles, and project stages.
- Experience with Python, R, SQL, scripting, workflow automation, or data visualisation.
- Experience in technical studies, due diligence, audits, independent reviews, or public reporting.
- Field experience in geological mapping, drilling supervision, core logging, sampling, or exploration programme management.
- Professional registration or eligibility with a recognised professional geoscience body is an advantage.
