Role Overview:
The Geoscience Intern will support subsurface evaluation activities associated with exploration and development projects and gain hands-on experience in geologic and seismic interpretation, subsurface mapping, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support subsurface evaluation for exploration and development projects.
- Perform geologic and seismic interpretation.
- Assist with subsurface mapping and analysis.
- Generate geologic maps and analyze geological data.
- Progress from objective data analysis toward interpretation, projection, and actionable recommendations.
Preferred Background and Skills:
- Strong academic background in stratigraphy, sedimentology, and structural geology.
- Knowledge of log analysis and geophysical interpretation.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email applications.
- Strong deductive reasoning and analytical skills.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize information for problem solving.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to support project coordination, facilitation, and implementation.

Qualification
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree in a geoscience program. Minimum 3.0 GPA required. Eligible to work in the United States. Preference for strong academic backgrounds in stratigraphy, sedimentology, structural geology, log analysis, and geophysical interpretation.
