Job Description

Shenzyn is seeking skilled geoscience professionals to contribute to data-driven solutions in the oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) sector. Opportunities are available for Geologists, Geophysicists, and Petrophysicists with different experience levels, depending on the role.

Qualification

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Interpret seismic data, well data, and other subsurface datasets.
- Support geoscience data management and analysis.
- Use industry platforms such as Petrel, Techlog, Studio, Landmark OpenWorks, and DecisionSpace.
- Apply geological, geophysical, or petrophysical expertise to oil and gas projects.
- Contribute to data-driven workflows, automation, programming, and scripting where applicable.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience requirements vary by role: 1–3 years or 5+ years.
- Experience in seismic interpretation, well-data interpretation, or data management.
- Familiarity with relevant oil and gas software platforms.
- Oil and gas industry experience is preferred, particularly with operators such as Shell, ExxonMobil, and Cairn, or service companies such as Halliburton and Baker Hughes.
- Exposure to coding, automation, programming, or scripting.
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, AI/ML, or cloud platforms is an added advantage.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
