Job Description

A leading organization is hiring an Assistant Geologist for its bauxite mining operations in Bijlawa, Chhattisgarh. The position is within the Mining – Geology department, with one vacancy available.

Qualification

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Geology or Applied Geology.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct geological mapping and field investigations.
- Perform bauxite ore sampling and grade control.
- Identify ore and waste zones.
- Maintain geological records, sampling data, and reports.
- Coordinate with mining and survey teams to support mine development.
- Support ore-quality monitoring and grade-wise segregation.
- Assist with exploration and geological assessment activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with applicable requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Degree in Geology or Applied Geology.
- Knowledge of geological mapping, sampling, and grade control.
- Willingness to work in field and mining operations.
